BtoBet has consolidated its partnership with Editec, assisting it with its expansion plans in further growing its online iGaming business across the whole African continent.

Editec, a leading sports betting, lottery and gaming company in Africa with a strong presence in 20 countries as well as offices across Europe and the Middle East, has launched its sites PremierBet Kenya, Cogelo Premier Bet Parifoot, and Mercury Bet Sierra Leone.

The sites are operational in Kenya, Congo Brazzaville, and Sierra Leone respectively.

BtoBet Chairman and CEO Alessandro Fried said: “Its presence, especially in the African market is notable, and just like BtoBet they seek to differentiate themselves from their direct competitors primarily seeking to place their players at the core of their operations.”

Alex Rutherford, Editec’s Head of Online, added: “This coupled with their ambition to be leaders in their field has ensured that Editec’s brands not only are in safe hands but provide a next level and truly exciting betting experience to our customers.”

Last week BtoBet officialised STM Gaming as its first regional Certified Partner for Africa, with this new partnership being formally presented at ICE Africa this week.

STM Gaming are now providing a simplified version of BtoBet’s technological product, as well as the management of their operations, namely player support, license processing, payment methods, gaming content and sportsbook offer.

STM Gaming recently finalised multiple agreements with other companies, and has launched its first sportsbook and casino turnkey, Ugabet.

Earlier this month, BtoBet signed Nigerian media giant DAAR Group as a new partner.
